Surgery cancelled on large mass/suspicious mole: Emma’s Story

Wednesday, October 17, 2007 – I had my yearly check-up. Dr. Gregor found a large mass in my right breast. I also had a mole under my left arm that had changed in size and color. It had also gotten red all around it. Dr. Gregor stated that I needed a diagnostic mammogram. He also stated that I needed to make an appointment to have the mole removed and sent off for a biopsy.

Tuesday, October 31st – Scheduled for surgery on the mole.
Thursday, October 25th – Scheduled for a diagnostic mammogram.

Wednesday, October 17th – The church laid hands on me and prayed for me.

Tuesday, October 25th – I went in for the mammogram. After the first set of pictures were taken, the nurse came in and said that the report the doctor had sent to them stated that I had a large mass in my right breast. I told her “yes, I did”. She said the doctor that looked at the film wanted another set taken, So, we did. She came back in and said they did find a large mass, but did find a small one. She then said they wanted an ultra-sound done. The results were sent to Dr. Gregor.

Also, I later called the doctor’s office and cancelled my appointment for the surgery on the mole. It was just going away.

Monday, October 29th – Dr. Gregor called and said he wanted me to come in to his office and go over my options with me. The report from my tests stated that I had a 6mm suspicious solid mass.

Thursday, November 1st – Back to Dr. Gregor’s office. He said he wanted me to see an oncologist that specialized in breast surgery. He called and made an appointment.

Sunday, November 4th – The church once again laid hands on me and prayed. At this time the mole was shrinking and the redness was gone.

Wednesday, November 7th – Went to see Dr. Hoekstra who did another ultra-sound. She said she had seen the films that I had taken at the hospital and saw the large mass. She said it was there but is not there now. The mass was gone! The mole was also gone!

Thanks to the faithful prayers and God answering those prayers, I am released from the doctor’s care. God is faithful!!!! He is a God of healing and miracles!!!

Praise God!
